We know that walking into any new environment can be intimidating, so we want to make your first visit with us as smooth as possible! Here are some answers to questions you might have, and when you’re ready, let us know you’re coming!

WHERE WE MEET

Attending Live Oak

Where is the church?

Our services are held at 9:15 & 10:45am at the Bluffton School of Dance, across the street from Red Cedar Elementary School.

Where do I park?

As a guest, you can park at BSOD, but if the lot is full, please feel free to park in any of the neighboring lots. Parking signs are up everywhere around the area! (We suggest arriving 15 minutes early.)

Where should I go first?

We’d encourage you to stop in the Connections Cafe for some free coffee and donuts and then check out the rest of the building!

What about my kids?

During our weekend services we have created environments for kids from the nursery through 5th grade that are fun, energetic, safe, and Christ centered.

What should I expect?

Our worship services are laid back and contemporary, with interactive music and a relevant, Bible-based message. You’ll be invited to take communion each week, and an offering is collected in each service. (Our guests are NOT expected to give!)

What should I wear?

We’re a “come as you are” church, so wear what makes you feel comfortable. There is always a wide variety of attire, but most people wear shorts or jeans. (The pastor almost always wears jeans.)
