New Month, New Cause
This December, we are partnering with Books for Africa to help end illiteracy in Africa. Every 5 check-ins on Facebook will provide a book to a child in Sierra Leone. So don’t forget to check in on Facebook each time you visit us. The hashtag this month is #booksforafrica. For more information about this month’s cause, check out booksforafrica.org.
Scrip Gift Card Orders (Due 12.05.21)
Want to do some Christmas shopping and help our students attend Snowbird next Summer? If you answered yes, then we have a great idea! Click here for the gift card order form, print it out, select your gift cards, and bring your check to church on Sunday! We will have the cards for delivery on December 12th. Win for you checking items off your Christmas list and win for the students to attend Snowbird!
Cookie Drop Off (12.05.21)
The LOCC Kid’s Ministry Elves have been busy baking cookies! Families with littles, be on the look-out on Sunday, December 5th, from 2-5pm, you will be getting a yummy surprise dropped off at your house!
Green Bag Sunday (12.05.21)
One of our favorite service projects is coming up this month – Our Christmas Eve Goodie Bags! For those of you who are new, every Christmas Eve we put together goodie bags and baskets for those in our community that are working that day. This year we want everyone to get involved! Our green bags will be given out this Sunday. We need you to fill them with 16.9 Oz bottles of water, Hershey bars, Individual serving size bags of chips, pretzels, gold fish, Individual serving packets of nuts, Granola bars and Hershey kisses (all flavors) and then return them on December 12th. We have even created an Amazon wish list, so you can click here and order anything on the list and it will be delivered to the church! Easy!!
