Starting Point
If you are new to Live Oak, please make plans to join us for our Starting Point lunch, this Sunday, August 29th, at the Ministry Center. It will be immediately following the 10:45 service. This lunch gives you a chance to ask any questions you may have about Live Oak. It also lets you get to know some of our leadership over a free meal! Be sure to register here so we have plenty of food.

COVID Update
We know! Everyone is tired of talking about COVID! So are we! But the reality is the number of cases are continuing to rise again in Beaufort County. At this time, there is not a county or city wide mask mandate. We are however, encouraging you to wear a mask during our services on Sunday. We are trying to do everything we can to keep us meeting TOGETHER as a church family! Will we ask you to wear a mask if you come in without one? No. Will we have masks available if you want one? Yes. Will we judge you for wearing or not wearing a mask? No! Believe us, we understand there are some people who can not wear them! We just want to continue meeting together! Last week, Pastor Michael put out a video on masks at Live Oak. We are including it in the newsletter today just incase you didn’t get a chance to see it last week! Continue to pray that this pandemic ends quickly!
His Story (09.28.21)
We are kicking off the fall with a church-wide Bible study, unlike any other we have done in the past! On Tuesdays, starting September 28th, for 6 weeks, Sunnie McCaghren, will lead us through the entire Old Testament! This class will be interactive and fun! It is appropriate for all ages, so please sign up as families and learn along with your kiddos! Class will start at 6:30pm at the Ministry Center. You can register here!

Soles4Souls (09.11-12.21)
Don’t forget, we are collecting shoes for Soles4Souls on Saturday, September 11th, at our screening of Inside Out on our State Street Property. We will start gathering at 7:00 and the movie will start at dusk. If you can’t make the movie, bring your shoes with you on Sunday, September 12th, as we wrap up the At the Movies series for 2021! You can also drop them off at the Ministry Center.
