Miss a sermon?

We get it!  Everyone is busy.  If you miss a live service on Sunday, you can still check it out!  Every Tuesday the latest sermon is uploaded to the website, Vimeo, our podcast (Apple, Google, and Spotify), or our You Tube channel.  Yes, we are everywhere!  If you are watching or listening on any of these formats, be sure to subscribe and give us a rating!  The higher the rating and more subscriptions the more opportunities for others to find us!

House Churches

House Churches are the heartbeat of #realcommunity at Live Oak!  Most of our house churches have been on hold during the pandemic, however, that is getting ready to change!  House churches kick off in September!  If you are not part of a house church, we encourage you to get involved.  There are currently 8 house churches open for new members.  They meet on different nights of the week so check them out and see where you fit in!  You can click here to see what groups are available.

Marriage Night

We hope you can join us at Hewitt Oaks, on Friday, September 18th, from 6:00-9:30pm for this exciting event! Yes, dinner is included!

Live Oak will be among hundreds of local and international churches who will host the first Marriage Night livestream event in partnership with RightNow Media. Marriage Night will bring together thousands of husbands, wives, and engaged couples to hear from Matt and Lauren Chandler (The Mingling of Souls), Conway and Jada Edwards (When Love’s in View), Les and Leslie Parrott (The Good Fight), and comedian Michael Jr.

Healthy marriages don’t happen by accident. They require work and dedication, but with the busyness of life and the pressures of culture it’s easy to lose focus. What is marriage supposed to look like when those initial bursts of excitement give way to everyday troubles and routines?

Marriage Night is an opportunity to learn practical answers to that question. The event will provide expert teaching and principles for a lasting relationship while challenging you to see the greater purpose of marriage—to glorify God and advance his gospel. Marriage is made for more than fairy tale ending. It’s a picture of God’s hope and redemption for a world in need of rescue.

The cost for Marriage Night 2020 is $15 per person which includes dinner from Southern Graces!!!

Ladies Bible Study

The word fierce is trendy. It is used to describe women who are extreme athletes, high-level executives, or supermodels. Women at the top of their game. But what about the rest of us? Can we be fierce? Absolutely! In fact, women like us have been changing the world for thousands of years—many who received little fanfare yet lived fiercely anyway. In this six-week study we will look at lesser-known female characters in the Bible and the ways they changed the world by living into God’s calling, including:

· The midwives of Egypt (Shiphrah and Puah), who made hard decisions in the face of evil
· Deborah, who was an unlikely and powerful leader
· Naaman’s slave girl, who bravely points others to God’s healing power
· The Woman at the Well, who boldly repented and shared her faith
· Lois and Eunice, who parented with intentionality and effectiveness
· Dorcas, who showed kindness to those in need.

As we explore their lives, we will discover how we too can live into our callings, honor the Lord, and even change the world through our courage, faithfulness, and obedience.

This Bible study will be offered on Tuesday nights at the Ministry Center and via Zoom and also on Friday mornings.  There are limited spaces available for the in person meetings, so register early!  Click here to go to our events page, then you can select which study you would like to attend.
