Join us on August 7th & 8th as we serve our next generation throughout Bluffton! There are opportunities to serve at the following locations:
Saturday, August 7th – Live Oak Ministry Center – 14 Palmetto Way Bluffton
- Packing backpacks for the Back to School Event
Sunday, August 8th – multiple locations:
- Back to School Event at Oscar Frazier Park (Bluffton)
- Hopeful Horizons (Beaufort)
- Bluffton School of Dance (Bluffton)
At the Movies 2021
Nest Sunday, August 15th, we start the 2021 At the Movies sermon series. This is always one of the favorite series at Live Oak. We will have post cards available at the welcome table this Sunday, so when you are picking up communion, pick up some postcards and invite your friends and neighbors!
Soles4Souls
COVID has really tried to keep us from collecting shoes, but we keep succeeding!! On Saturday, September 11th, as part of the At the Movies series, we will be showing Inside Out on our property. Admission to the movie will be one pair of shoes for Soles4Souls. Of course, you can bring more than one pair! If you don’t make it to the movie that night, bring your shoes to church on September 12th! Start collecting shoes from friends and neighbors. An easy way is to advertise on Next Door or Facebook. We will also have a donation box at the Ministry Center starting September 7th.
Starting Point (08.29.21)
Are you new to Live Oak? Do you want to learn more about our church? Would you like a free lunch? If you answered yes to any of those questions, our Starting Point lunch is for you! Join us at the Ministry Center on Sunday, August 29th, at the Ministry Center, immediately after the 10:45 service. We will spend some time over lunch talking about Live Oak. This is an unscripted, interactive time for you to ask anything you would like to know about us! Hope you can join us. Be sure to register here so we have plenty of food!
New Month, New Cause
This August, every 10 check-ins at Live Oak will provide a brick to build a school for a community in Senegal! We’re working with Causely and buildOn to make it happen.
