This Sunday we will celebrate Mother’s Day together as one congregation! One service on the State Street property at 10:00am. Kid’s Ministry will be available.
Child Dedication (05.09.21)
If you want to place your parenting under the lordship of Christ, this service is for you. The practice of dedicating children is rich in church and biblical tradition. God’s word speaks abundantly about the responsibility of parents in passing the torch of faith to their children. This dedication service is more about the parents than the kids. It is you who will stand up in view of your church family and proclaim your intentions to do all within your power to raise your children to know and follow Jesus. It is you who will invite into your parenting both the encouragement and accountability of your Live Oak church family.

End of School Breakfast (06.12.21)
Maybe soon we won’t have to say, “We had to change things because of COVID.” Unfortunately that isn’t the case, yet! This year we are doing breakfast boxes to go for 4 schools rather than just the 2 high schools. On Saturday, June 12th, at 10:00am, we will meet at the Ministry Center to put together about 500 boxes. If you are interested in donating items for the boxes, we are collecting bottled water, granola bars, water flavor packets, individual packets of nuts, individual wet naps, and clementines. You can drop off the items at the office beginning in June.

Savannah Bananas Family Night (06.09.21)
On Wednesday, June 9th, our Student Ministry is heading to a Savannah Bananas game! Families are encouraged to attend! The gates open at 5:30pm and the game starts at 7:00pm. Tickets are $18/person and include all you can eat concessions!! You are responsible for your own transportation. Click here to register!
Scrip Gift Cards
Our students are heading to Snowbird this summer! How can you help? You can order some gift cards from Scrip. Gift cards are available for hundreds of locations and make the perfect gift for graduation, Father’s Day, or use them for your vacation. You can download an order form here. They will also be available at church on May 2nd. Orders are due by May 16th. Make your check payable to Live Oak Christian Church.
