Easter Service (04.04.21)

Join us Easter Sunday on our State Street property for one service at 10:00!  Be sure to invite a friend to join us.  Let’s fill up the 250 chairs that will be set up that morning!  Wouldn’t it be awesome to have a field full of people hearing about the Resurrection?  The Baptismal will also be set up that morning.

Volunteers Needed

The best feeling in the world is serving others!  If you want to experience that feeling, we can use your help!  We currently have openings in Kid’s Ministry, Hospitality and Tech.  If you’re interested just send an email to and let us know where you would like to serve.  Someone will be in touch within 48 hours to get more information.  We love our volunteers and can’t have Sunday mornings with our them!

Another way to serve is through our Meal Ministry.  If you are interested in hearing more about this ministry send an email to

Spring Relaunch (04.11.21)

On Sunday, April 11th, we will relaunch 3 services on Sunday mornings.  We will meet at 8:00, 9:15, & 10:45.  This allows more people to come to church and still maintain social distancing.  If you are hesitating to come back because of the number of people in the room, plan to attend our 8:00 service.

Our Kid’s Ministry ramps back up to 2 services on the 11th also.  So, bring your kids to the 9:15 or 10:45 service!  We miss their giggles and smiles!

Registration is still required.  You can register here.  Also, masks will be required until the town lifts the mask mandate.

Men’s Night (04.17.21)

We are going to have an opportunity to hear some amazing testimonies on Saturday, April 17th, at 6:30pm.  Cary Sanders and Jimmy MacPhee from Jumpstart will join us around a fire pit to talk about how Jesus changed their lives.

Jumpstart began as an idea among a group of believers who met Christ while serving life sentences at the McCormick Correctional Institution in South Carolina.  This organization believes that people need to be prepared before being released and have to have a stable place to live and work, with transportation, life skills training, and accountability.

Cary and Jimmy will also be speaking on Sunday, April 18th, as Pastor Michael kicks off an new sermon series entitled Seen.  Imagine how others would see you if you were a convicted felon.  You will get to hear that reality from men who live it every day.

Be sure to register for the Saturday night event.  It is being held at Hampton Lake and a gate pass is required.  You can register here.

New Month, New Cause

This April, every 6 check-ins at Live Oak will provide a day of care to a child in need. We’re working with Reach by Causely and Compassion International to make it happen. You can add #compassion4kids when you check in to promote the cause. For more information about this month’s mission, check out
