So I’m sure you all received a weird email yesterday morning.  That was from us, it was legit!  Unfortunately it was a test blog we were trying out for our new FORWARD page on the website.  The good news is, it worked!  The bad news is, it worked!  Sorry about that!

Starting Point (02.21.21)

It’s not too late to register for our Starting Point class.  It will be this Sunday, February 21st, right after the 10:45 service. Come and learn about our beliefs, values, mission and vision.  Enjoy lunch with some of our church leadership at our Ministry Center (14 Palmetto Way, Bluffton).  Bring your appetite and your questions.  Nothing is off limits! Be sure to register here.

Stimulus Giving

Just as a reminder, if you have received a stimulus check and you do not need the money, you can donate it to Live Oak! We will only use it for compassion/benevolence fund or One Home!  Did you know, you can even split it up if you would like!  When you give on line, you pick where you want the money to go.  Once you select the first category, you can click on add donation and select a second category.  You choose the amount that you want to give for each category.  Pretty simple.  We were doing some very simple math in staff meeting last Monday. If 100 families donated $1000 from the stimulus check, that is $100,000.  Think of the impact that would make in our community or on our One Home project. THANK YOU ALL FOR BEING SO GENEROUS AND FAITHFUL!  #recklessgenerosity

Welcome Bradley & Caitlin Chestnut

In case you missed it, we announced last Sunday that we selected Bradley Chestnut as our new Worship Pastor!  Over the next few weeks you will hear more about the Chestnuts.  We are so excited to have Bradley and Caitlin join the Live Oak family!!
