At Live Oak, we want everyone to take the next step of their faith journey with Jesus. We value your growth, your questions, and your relationships, and we want to move forward together.
Events

GroupLife at Live Oak is where discipleship happens best. It is in these groups that you will find opportunities to grow in your faith, partnerships to love and serve others and our community, and friends to celebrate with, cry with, and “do life” with.
For detailed information on all of our GroupLife offerings, please download the Live Oak app and check out the GroupLife tab.
Hangouts
Hangouts seek to build community and are welcoming to visitors. If you are new to the church or the community, try coming to a Small Group to get to know new people and build relationship!
LifeGroups
LifeGroups are the heartbeat of our community at Live Oak. They are so important that we encourage EVERYONE who attends to get plugged into one. It is in a LifeGroup that you will find spiritual growth, connection, support, accountability, service opportunities, and fun.
LifeGroups consist of at least 3 families/individuals committed to meeting at least 2 times a month, and participating in 1 service project a quarter.
Classes
Live Oak offers studies and classes on a range of issues and topics, all centered on helping us obey Jesus’ call to follow. While some studies are focused on specific groups (men, women, married couples, parents, etc.), most will be open to anyone. Popular studies have included: Financial Peace University (Dave Ramsey), Crazy Love (Francis Chan) The Authentic Manhood Series, Exodus: God’s Relentless Pursuit of Us (Ashley McNary), and Named by God (Kasey Van Norman).
Studies/Classes meet at varying times depending on the topic or focus. While most are offered at our Ministry Center, some classes extend to coordinate groups meeting in people’s homes.
Support
Support groups are offered to bring people together who are dealing with similar difficult circumstances and focus on providing people and practices to those facing challenging seasons and circumstances.
Whether you’re seeking support for caregiving, addiction, depression, anxiety, or another mental health issue, overcoming your unease and attending a support group can be a valuable step toward healing.
Compassion
Compassion is a core piece of Live Oak’s DNA; it combines all four of our core values: radical life-change, real community, reckless generosity, and relentless prayer. From the very beginning we have been committed to loving people locally and globally in tangible ways, creating new partnerships along the way. Partners are supported in various ways including financial gifts, volunteerism, support trips, and more. Whether it’s leveraging check-ins on Facebook to provide shoes to those in need or to donate bricks to build schools … or filling “green bags” every month to provide much needed supplies to our local partners, we want to BE compassion to others.
